Curaprox PerioPlus Focus CHX 0.50 Gel, is a chlorhexidine based gel with strong, fast acting antimicrobial actions. It is suitable for short term management of gum infections and gum pain, after surgery and for use around implants.

CITROX gives the gel a pleasant orange flavour, unlike other chlorhexidine products.

Gel formulation - low foaming, suitable for patients with swallowing difficulties, or having difficulty brushing their teeth. The gel remains in contact with gum area for a long period of time  - prolonging the localised antibacterial effect.

Active ingredient: 0.5% chlorhexidine, also contains hyaluronic acid, citrox, xylitol, PVP-VA. 

DOES NOT CONTAIN ALCOHOL or FLUORIDE.

Directions for use:

Apply a pea sized amount to toothbrush and brush all teeth for 2 minutes, focusing on the gum line. Spit out excess and do not rinse out excess. Avoid eating or drinking for at least 30 minutes after use. 

Alternatively, a pea sized amount can be rubbed over the affected gums with a finger and left in place. 

For best results - use after breakfast in the morning, and before bed at night, for 5-7 days. May cause staining on teeth with prolonged use.
